The Packaging Place is a leading food and retail packaging supplier.  We work with our customers to source, manufacture, and supply packaging solutions to meet their requirements.

We pride ourselves on providing the ultimate customer service experience to all our customers.  If you have a genuine passion for sales and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment we have the position for you.

The position is based in our Brisbane office in Hendra.

Our Customer Service Team is highly valued and is critical for the continued growth of our business. 

PART-TIME - 3 days per week. 
 

About You
Be able to communicate effectively and provide solutions for customer inquiries while demonstrating a willingness to adapt to different situations and tasks on a day-to-day basis. Be super proactive with a positive and friendly attitude and a great communicator who will work well independently and within a team to support other team members.  

You will possess many of the following attributes:
● Professional experience in, and a passion for, providing exceptional customer service
● An ability to "create" the ultimate customer experience
● Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
● A confident and professional phone manner is essential

● Numerical & Analytical Skills
● Familiarity with Microsoft Office – Including Outlook & Excel

Customer Service experience in a similar environment would be beneficial, however, it is not just about the experience – BUT it is all about the right attitude!

Tasks and responsibilities
● Process Customer orders, Invoicing and Freight Consignments

● Showroom Sales

● Prepare and Follow up Customer Quotes

● Email Management: Promptly respond to and manage emails, ensuring effective communication.

● Be able to talk to customers, obtain a clear understanding of their requirements and provide packaging options to suit - standard products or custom options

● Product Selection Assistance: Aid customers in selecting the right packaging for their products

● Ad-hoc Administrative Tasks: Undertake miscellaneous administrative tasks to support office operations.
